PATHWAY

A clear pathway from first steps to long-term service

The Pathway

You don’t have to figure this out alone. MCN has built a proven journey that meets you where you are—curious, sensing a call, or somewhere in between—and guides you through formation and hands-on experience into sustained participation in God’s mission to the nations and service among unreached peoples and nations.

It also helps local churches and Christian Unions move from faithful local engagement to becoming thriving missional communities that impact nations with the gospel.

Every step is supported.

Every stage is lived in community.

And your local church remains at the centre.

Steps

Your first step is the one that changes everything.

MCN’s courses are designed to fit alongside your studies or career. In just a few days or weeks, you’ll develop a biblical understanding of God’s mission, discover the history of how the gospel has reached the nations and begin to see your own place—and calling—within God’s unfolding story.

What changes: You’ll stop seeing mission as something that happens “over there” and start seeing your role in God’s global story—wherever that leads.

When curiosity becomes conviction.

VoT (Voice of Truth) is an intensive seven-week discipleship program for students and young leaders. Spend four weeks in residential training mastering Personal Discipleship, Kingdom Perspectives, and World Missions, then ignite your faith with a three-week mission among Kenya’s Least Reached peoples.

Angaza School is MCN’s residential formation programme. Over one year, you’ll be immersed in mission theology, biblical study, practical training, mentoring, community life, and supervised cross-cultural field exposure among unreached peoples.

This is where calling meets preparation. Where you’re not just taught about mission, but formed for it.

Formation tested in the real world.

Following Angaza, you’ll spend a full year in supervised ministry through one of two tracks:

Mobilisation Track: Join MCN team, learning to serve as a mission educator, facilitator, and emerging leader—with an international exposure experience in East Africa.

Field Track: Be placed among unreached communities under experienced supervision, carrying real ministry responsibility and growing in cross-cultural resilience.

Both tracks are designed to test and strengthen what Angaza began—so that when you’re sent, you’re truly ready.

Sent with your church. Sustained for the long haul.

GEN12 is MCN’s dedicated sending arm—created specifically to honour the partnership between mission workers and their local churches. When you’re deployed through GEN12, your church isn’t left behind. They’re your commissioning community, your support network, and your accountability.

GEN12 provides structured member care, ongoing training, oversight, and pastoral support—because reaching unreached peoples is a marathon, not a sprint, and no one should run it alone.
